Our Mission
Who We Are
No one's bucket should be empty. We want to fill up every kid's bucket.
Full Bucket Foundation is a non-profit foundation started to help underdeveloped boarding schools in Senegal. These schools, referred to as “Daaras,” house hundreds of “Talibes” (students) at times. These Daaras lack the funding and resources to take care of these kids, which, unfortunately, leads to them wandering around the streets of Senegal with a bucket in their hands, begging for food and money in hope of having enough to last them through the day.
We believe kids do not belong on the streets, and we are working to give the kids the stability they deserve.
Our Approach
Our Mission
Our mission is to give kids the stability they deserve.
Full Bucket Foundation was born because we believe kids do not belong in the streets. Our mission is to give these kids the stability they deserve so that they can solely focus on their education. We want to fill their buckets up – Hence the name.
Our Vision
Our long-term goal is for the Daaras to be self-sufficient and not be dependent on outside help.
We are aiming to accomplish self-sufficiency for the Daaras through in-house farming. Growing most of the food that they consume would be a huge cost saver for the schools.
