One Student, One Job

We are proud to partner with two organizations in Senegal to host skill-building workshops for older students within our boarding schools. This collaboration aims to make a significant impact on the lives of these students and the communities they belong to.

By offering training in diverse fields such as electrical systems technology, mechanics, plumbing, baking, web and app development, finance, agriculture, and entrepreneurship, we empower these students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience. This training not only boosts their confidence but also enhances their employability, opening doors to better job prospects and more freedom later on in life.

Unemployment is a pressing issue in Senegal, particularly among young people. Through these skill-building workshops, we directly address this challenge by equipping students with the skills that are in high demand in any job market. By focusing on crucial sectors like agriculture and entrepreneurship, we promote sustainable development, improve food security, and create opportunities for self-employment and job creation within their communities which the very core of our foundation.

One of the significant benefits of this initiative is bridging the skills gap. In many developing countries, there needs to be a match between the skills possessed by the workforce and those required by employers. Our workshops aim to bridge this gap by providing training aligned with the local job market. This ensures that students are equipped with practical skills and knowledge that directly meet the needs of employers, enhancing their employability and contributing to economic growth.
