Workshop

Big thanks to PAASHI for hosting an awesome workshop! Thank you for teaching us how to make reusable pads while enlightening us on the menstrual health struggles in rural communities. It’s disheartening to know that many women lack access to menstrual pads, leading them to miss school and being more vulnerable to exploitation. We are preparing to send a shipment of reusable pads to Senegal soon, and we welcome any assistance! Join us in making a positive impact and gaining a new skill while empowering women.

Senegal Day

We had the chance to showcase our work and share our mission at Senegal Day, we want to extend a special thank you to Tap Tap Send for making this possible and for their constant support! Our founder also had the opportunity to interview with Voice of Africa News Channel and we’re thrilled to see our organization constantly evolving. A special thank you to SA-DMV for hosting this event and giving organizations like ours a platform. We made great connections and are looking forward to fostering those partnerships as we strive to create lasting change and leave a positive footprint in the world!

Filling Buckets

We are very excited to annouce our newest initiative: Filling Buckets!

Filling Buckets One will be a series of mini projects focusing on improving the living conditions in the schools we are partnering with. For this first mini project, we are focusing on Daara Seynabou Niass. During our visit there back in June, we learned that their classroom was damaged due to heavy rains, forcing the kids to study directly under the sun during this record-high summer. Thanks to our fantastic team located in Senegal, we raised funds this last week and are thrilled to announce that restorations have officially started, and the kids will soon be able to study in better conditions. We will be sharing updates on the progess regularly.

We are thrilled to share our second mini-project as part of our Filling Buckets initiative: Filling Buckets Two.

After building a classroom for the kids in Daara Seynabou Niass, we are happy to announce that we are currently in the process of building our second classroom for on of our other partnered schools: Daara Tamsir Malick Sow. A comfortable classroom has been proven to favor students’ success, and increase their engagment, so we are grateful that we can help the kids in that way. We have been working behing the scences and have lots of exciting news to share in the coming weeks. If you are interested in our mission, please contact us, and we would be happy to find ways you can help us make an impact.
