Daara Babacar Sylla

We are currently in the process of helping them dig wells, which would allow them to farm in multiple seasons rather than just wait for the rainy season. This will also allow them to have more water to extend the harvest. This work has already begun.
Estimated Project Cost: $2,000.
Daara Seynabou Niass
90 students
This is one of our most urgent project. Due a storm, they recently lost their roof and the students have been studying outside while being exposed to the extreme heat everyday, all day. Whenever it rains, classes are canceled and it’s slowing the progress of the kids.

Our project for this school is to build them a second classroom. They already have one classroom but can only hold half of the kids that are enrolled in the school. The other half study outside.

Build a 2nd Floor for the teachers and older kids that will be studying university materials. The teachers are forced to live outside of the boarding school due to the lack of rooms in the institute.
