Water Access Program
The Clean Water Access Program (CWAP) brings life-changing access to clean water for Islamic boarding schools (daaras) and underserved communities across Senegal. Each well, whether solar-powered or manually-pumped, is more than a source of water; it’s a step toward better health, hygiene, and education for children who need it most. Unsafe water leads to deadly diseases and lost classroom time, especially for girls and young children. CWAP wells support daily needs like bathing, cooking, and ritual purification—essential for both personal dignity and spiritual practice. In Islam, providing water is among the most beloved forms of charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), offering ongoing reward even after one’s lifetime. Families can sponsor a well in their own name or honor a loved one—living or deceased—leaving a legacy of compassion and care. With every well, we bring hope, healing, and the blessings of clean water to communities who need it most.
“The best charity is giving water to drink.” — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Ahmad)
Every well we build not only quenches thirst but carries the reward of Sadaqah Jariyah — a charity that continues to benefit, long after it’s given
It’s about more than just access. Each well unlocks new opportunities for children to grow, learn, and thrive. Every donation helps us provide the tools, education, and resources they need to become confident, independent, and resilient. At Full Bucket Foundation, we believe in more than just meeting basic needs — we invest in futures. Join us in pouring into the next generation!
